You can choose whether to enable your camera and microphone before entering a meeting. Your browser will ask for device permission, and you can revoke that permission from the browser at any time.
Live audio and video are routed through the Ironhand Meets service so participants can communicate. The service does not keep live media after the meeting unless a recording feature is started.
Hosts are asked to confirm participant consent before recording starts. When recording is active, the room shows an active recording indicator.
Messages, shared links, and meeting notes may be visible to participants in the room. Chat history is stored only when the meeting configuration enables history, and saved chat rows follow the configured retention window.
Speech input and transcription require an in-room consent confirmation before they start. Transcripts may be sent to configured speech or translation providers when those features are enabled.
AI assistant and avatar features require an in-room consent confirmation before participants submit chat or speech input to them. The room shows a disclosure while AI assistant, avatar, or speech processing features are active. Do not share sensitive information unless your organization has approved that use.
You can mute your microphone, stop your camera, leave the meeting, or ask the host to stop recording or transcription. Meeting hosts are responsible for telling participants when optional features are enabled and for following their organization policy.
For questions about a specific meeting, contact the meeting organizer or the Ironhand Meets administrator for your organization.
